BOOK OF ROMANS (PART 6) – BY FAITH ALONE

  • Tayo ay naging matuwid, naligtas, at nagtatagumpay sa buhay by faith in Christ alone, hindi dahil sa ating nagawa or magagawa.
  • Clarification on the word “manifest” – It is often used in New Age and mind control practices to bring about what they want. Pero nauna ang Bible diyan. Manifest means ma-reveal o makita. We manifest or reveal or experience the finished work of Christ. If Christ and His finished work are the source, then no problem. Pero kung sa sarili mong sikap or gawa, we are not about that.
  • For us, believers, it is not from visualization or affirmation, but from the finished work of Jesus, and we manifest it.
    • We speak because we believe!
    • The world uses money to manifest, pero sa Christian life, it is faith.
  • Only believe, only by faith in Christ Jesus.
  • Romans 4:1-5
    • Abraham became righteous because he believed.
    • Napakayaman niya by faith alone.
    • Whether spiritual or material, in the Kingdom of God, it is by faith alone. Only by faith!
    • Yes, we work, and we receive wages for our work, pero may iba ka pang matatanggap na biyaya dahil sa pananampalataya.
    • Libre ang lahat basta galing sa Diyos!
  • Isaiah 55:1
    • By faith alone. You will buy by faith (currency in the Kingdom of God).
    • New Covenant people, we enjoy everything for free.
    • Free for all to receive.
    • But how? How do we receive the free gift? Only by faith.
  • Example: Abraham – He was never under the law like us Gentiles. What saved Abraham, what made him righteous, rich, and victorious was faith!
  • Example: Abraham and Lot – Sobrang yaman nila that they had to part ways.
  • You want victories? By faith alone. You want material things? By faith alone.
  • Romans 4:1-8
    • Verse 4 – “Works” here means binabayaran natin ang biyaya ni Lord.
    • But you cannot pay something that is already paid.
    • It is not by works, you just need to believe!
    • By faith alone, in Christ alone. Jesus plus Nothing.
  • Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David – They also believed in Jesus.
    • By faith, Abraham offered Isaac.
  • Any works after getting saved are just proof or evidence that you are saved. Works are results or fruit of the salvation you received.
  • None of our works are involved. We only believed!
  • Abraham believed God. Abraham had faith in God’s Word. Who is God’s Word? Jesus!
  • Genesis 15:1 – “The word of the Lord” = Jesus.
    • Every time you see “the word of the Lord” written in the Bible, that is Jesus, the Word.
    • Abraham believed the Word of God, who is none other than Jesus (John 1:1-2).
    • Abraham believed that he was the father of many nations.
    • Genesis 17:5 – “I have made you.” Done deal na kahit wala pa.
    • Faith speaks those things which are not as though they were.
    • Say according to the Word and the finished work – that is the right manifestation. Speak by faith!
  • Romans 4:17Faith that Jesus gave us as a gift is what makes us receive, experience, and manifest. Just believe!
    • When you believe, speak it out.
  • By faith alone, in Christ alone, we believe and receive everything, manifesting the finished work of Christ.
    • None of our works are involved. We only believe.
    • We speak by faith! We speak what we believe, and it manifests.
    • We speak it out and experience the goodness of God.
    • Whatever our hope is, we just believe – we have faith alone in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
  • Against all odds, if you speak by faith, you will have what you speak!
Believe the truth.
  • Kung labas pa sa ilong, ang solusyon ay to hear and hear by the Word of God, and faith comes.
  • God wants you to speak it out because you believe it. This is manifesting the Bible way.
  • Lumalabas sa bibig ang iyong pinapaniwalaan.
    • Believing = Receiving.
    • The moment you believed is the moment you received.
    • Everything we need in life has been given to us.
    • Faith is the substance of things hoped for. The evidence of things not seen. And if you have faith, whatever you ask you shall have.
    • The moment you asked by faith, believed by faith, and received by faith is the moment you have it.
  • 2 Corinthians 4:13 – Speak what you believe, and it manifests.
  • Speak it out and experience the goodness of God.
  • Whatever your hope is, just believe – only have faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
